Using Hogwarts Legacy for castle layout and travel in Harry Potter fan-works
Does anyone else use the Hogwarts Legacy map to determine paths through or Hogwarts castle, or around the grounds, for their fan-works?
I've been using it a bit while also trying to adjust some of the classroom locations to better fit with the books. Some things though, like the pathways from the Great Hall to the Owlery are still very standard though, and the map works great to estimate how long it would take.
The only annoying part is that, although I've played the game through three times now, I still don't have the castle memorized very well. So, I've started running the pathways for my OC Diana several times before writing them and I feel like it's helped.
That being said, if anyone needs a path run for their own stories, I'm happy to give it a go. It might take a bit, and I'll have to learn how to post a video here (or I could just link it) but I feel like it would be good practice for me while helping others out who might not have the game or want to spend the time.
