I'm one of those criticizing Snow, Charming and Emma. I really do get where they are coming from - I do - she was a great piece of work but she didn't have Henry in Fairytale Land - she is trying to change for Henry just like Rumple is changing for Bae and Belle - so why can everyone see Rumple changing and not Regina?

Well, for one, I don't think that this instance has so much to do with either of their attempts to change as it does with the visual of seeing "Regina" committing the murder. Snow and Charming may have jumped to their conclusion prematurely, but Emma did not, and the Charmings were at least will to go along with her for a while. But seeing is believing, though obviously not 100% of of the time, they have no reason to question what they saw. At least not yet.

Also, I don't think anyone is seeing Rumple as having changed over Regina, aside from Belle. They still picked him out as the "one other person who would kill," and no one has said anything to suggest that they have forgiven him. Not to mention no one knows of his involvement in the casting of the curse, they all have that sour taste in their mouth for Regina only, presently.

Plus, Rumple has been laying low a lot more than Regina. He's just kind of hanging out with Belle, while Regina and the Charming family have a lot more interaction on account of Henry, so there are more arguments and more ups and downs with her than with him. But that's not to say they hold his redemption in higher regard than Regina's, I haven't seen that at all.
