This is absolutely not the answer you’re looking for but here in Scotland we always had History and Modern Studies classes. So anything too recent to be history got covered in Modern Studies. (Which had textbooks up until 5 years before and lessons about things happening in current news.)

this is not at all the answer i am looking for, but i am still glad i have this knowlege. a modern studies class sounds like a good idea. we had a current events class, but it was like... read the newspaper current events (that's actually what we did in class, monday and wednesday we read the newspaper, tuesday and thursday we discussed, our homework every night was to watch/read the news/research to contribute to class discussion), and fridays we had to write 5 mini-essays on current events and then we got to read the comics/sports/lifestyle sections the teacher took out of the papers during the week), so there's a Gap

a) holy shit no the expansion packs are $40 and even the game packs are still $20

b) City Living, probably or maybe Seasons or just the Vampires game pack

i also wish they could understand that you can look at a character with a shitty past and acknowledge that and how it effects them without using it to excuse their actions. it’s not that hard people.

Exactly aksdfjd but like then I remember just that ONE episode or that ONE scene that was just really freaking good or that ONE character that I really love - and I just keep trucking (Oh Kevin I do this for you) live and die by the phrase "you deserved better"

Yo admitting it is not shameful or yikes. Sometimes that’s just how it takes us. You’re doing really well to have ID’d the problem and gotten help. That’s half the battle! <3

that’s true. i still struggle with the ‘my problems aren’t valid’ thing. it’s hard to get over that sort of mentality even though, now, i understand it stems from past abuse. but i am working on getting better. <3 <3 thank you.
