WHICH ONE HOGS THE BLANKET: Neither of you do. Harry is keen on sharing and you are willing to reciprocate as long as he keeps his kicking legs to himself and doesn't wake you up with his snoring in the middle of the night. However, he's sometimes even known for tucking the blanket more tightly around your shoulders when he has to get up before you, so if that counts, you do hog the blanket - occasionally.
WHICH ONE MAKES COFFEE FOR THE OTHER EVERY MORNING: You make tea - not coffee - for Harry in the mornings whenever he's at home. He grapples and whines for it nearly every morning, but you still roll out of bed with a sleepy smile on your face and make both of you a steaming mug. He burns his tongue for being too eager and you grin into the rim with a smirk in your eyes (and that should teach him for being grumpy in the mornings).
THEIR FIRST IMPRESSION OF EACH OTHER: Harry thought you were ridiculously pretty while you opted for a more pretentious approach for him. He had been carrying his leather journal around, his hands never straying from it as if it would run away from his fingertips, and you thought he was so self-involved with his own words that he couldn't let go of them. The more you talked with him at a house party thrown by a mutual friend (learning that he had just come from the airport and didn't feel safe leaving his writings in his luggage), the more you realized he was sweet and funny with a smile that lit up the entirely place, and he kept thinking about how much he would like to get a taste of you.
WHAT THEIR DATES ARE LIKE: Your dates are laidback, but Harry is known for going all out and setting up a romantic dinner at a fancy and expensive restaurant for anniversaries and special occasions. Besides that, when it's easy to get out of the house and not be seen by fans or paparazzi, you two like going bowling or walking around a park with your hands intertwined and the others holding croissants and cups of coffee. When even that isn't possible, you can be found lounging on one of the couches in the living room, his fingers in your hair with takeout on the side table, your head resting on his chest and your eyes always flickering from the movie on the screen to the way his lips look in the dim lighting.
WHICH ONE INITIATED THE FIRST FLIRT: Harry did. He pulled the whole "do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?" although you two had known each other for a few weeks, but strictly as acquaintances. He ended up tripping over a crack in the pavement.
HOW THEY HANDLE MINOR INJURIES OR SICKNESS: Harry freaks out when he's sick, especially when he has any cold or a sore throat, and can be found in bed, wrapped up in as many blankets as you two store in the shared flat, a mug of tea resting beneath his nose like it's somehow going to cure him. You take care of him easily, easing all of his fears about "not being able to sing the next day" or "having a setback with the tour" because of it. When you're ill, or have clumsily scraped your knee, Harry puts on his baby voice. It can get annoying sometimes, but that's simply how he is, and it does occasionally (most often) soothe your upset stomach or bloodied skin.
THE NICKNAMES OR PETNAMES THEY CALL EACH OTHER AND HOW THOSE NAMES CAME ABOUT: Harry calls you 'Val' as a nickname and 'pumpkin' as a petname. He was worried about first calling you Val, because everyone else seemed to call you the same, and he was afraid that he wasn't going to have something creative and unique enough to make his name stick with you, but Val stuck either way because you got flustered when he first called you it. One of your first dates was in the fall, and his big hands helped you carve the goop out of a pumpkin, and every time you beamed up at him during that date, he kissed your hairline and murmured the endearment. You call Harry 'H' as a nickname and 'babe' as a petname. H is a retaliation for Val, although you never once complained when he called you by your own nickname. He wasn't too big into being called elaborate petnames found on the internet, so you stuck with something simple, and would wake him up with a 'babe' or a softer 'baby' and push the fringe back away from his closed eyelids.
HOW THEY HUG: Harry likes tucking your chin beneath his head. Your hair always ends up tickling his nose when he presses his face into the top of your head, but he's not in his right mind to complain about it. He keeps his arms protectively wrapped around your shoulders with one of his hands placed at the back of your neck, keeping you pressed closely to him, while you tighten your arms around his waist and lock your fingers together behind his back. Although never planned, the two of you always end up rocking side to side whenever you're hugging. There are some kisses, some whispers, but really, there's just him holding you and you holding on right back.
WHO KISSED WHO FIRST: You kissed Harry first. He was droning on about some mundane story, and every time he slowly pronounced a syllable, his mouth would purse and the edges of his lips would tip downwards, creating a smooth canvas of pink skin that had you dizzying. He faltered only slightly when you first put your hands on his cheeks and gripped the strands of hair behind his ears, halting his story to ask you what you were doing, and then you were kissing him and he was quiet and the white noise in your head started to erupt all around you until Harry was kissing you back and his hands were placed at the bottom of your spine.
