I’ve decided her name is Hannah :) also I tried really hard to find a picture of a red headed woman with mohawk that matched the description of the books, but everything was just very 80’s punk, which is cool, but not accurate to the time period of the Grishaverse so…you’ll have the settle. rip Harshaw future punk teens in the Grishaverse will never know you were the original 😔 anyhow I don’t like this very much but I’ve decided im not gonna make anything better soooo…
explanation for elements: I’m gonna be honest, most of this is purely vibe based and has no deep meaning, flames bc inferni, orange cats bc Oncat, chilies bc fire hot therefore spicy, apple orchard because that’s where they stayed before the final battle, a boat to reference leaving the Wandering Isle, daylilies bc their flame colored (thanks @otterie) flint and steel bc, again, inferni. Mountains to represent the Sikurzoi, stone castle to represent the Wandering Isle, etc. vibe based mood board.
normally I’d include a section about thoughts on what a fem version of a character would be like but truly Harshaw would not be any different as a woman, there’s nothing about their story that relies on them being a man. next up is Adrik :) I’m actually debating a bit with him because I’ve never watched the show but my first introduction to these characters was through it and that means I have a hard time visualizing Nadia and Adrik as anything other than Zemini/Black even if they are Ravkan in the books, (I also struggle to imagine Zoya as looking anything other than like her actress but otherwise, I’m fine with the other characters, especially the crows) so idk if I wanna just do book! Adrik with show! Adrik’s appearance or fully commit to the book look. idk we’ll see
