Okay but like…. I love Stacey so much???? She is the Ann to my Leslie, Glinda to my Elphaba, blonde to my red. She’s my best friend in the whole world and I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t met her. She has helped me through everything and has always been kind and loving to me. I would give anything for her happiness, down to my own life. I just love her so much and I’m so happy I have her in my life.

Bruh. I missed the update a while ago becuase work but oh man. I finally read it and I'm dying. I had to come here to tell you how much I love the pacing and all the little interactions between Fenris and Garrett (And also Isabela because I'm such a nerd I legit teared up when she was watching them from the top of the stairs, like she just loves her friends so much). I am so satisfied with this chapter and can't wait for the next! Thanks!!

you're most welcome, oh my goodness!!! i loved writing isabela so much - i mean, i always love writing her tbh but in this chapter i think she was just. super cunning. i mean, garrett doesn't know the extent of her cunning, but still. (tfw first person pov has that one drawback - you don't really see the reasons why the other characters do what they do and ON TOP OF THAT you're only privy to one character's views concerning those actions, but, at the same time - I LOVE THAT. I LOVE THE CONCEPT OF SOLO NARRATORS BC THEY'RE LITERALLY UNRELIABLE BY DEFAULT AND i'm about to go on a tangent so i'll stop right here LMAO). but i'm so glad you enjoyed it!!! <3 and also that you like the pacing, thanks for dealing with it, i know it can be irritating to read slow-build fics but i'm doing my best to keep it as fresh as possible!
