Here's my Haru x Albert headcanons and cute thoughts
Even though Albert just showed up in episode 9 of Free! Dive to the Future, I really like him!! And ship him with Haru.
Ok here goes...
-Albert and Haru begin dating, and Albert feeling honored when Haru invites him over for the first time.
-Haru is pleasantly surprised when Albert offers tips and advice to help improve his freestyle.
-While getting to know each other, despite the language barrier, it doesn't stop them from sharing meaning through a single glance.
-Haru likes taking Albert to different restaurants in search of the best mackerel. He can't stop his cheeks from flaring a bright red, when Albert says that nothing compares to Haru's cooking.
-Haru and Albert enjoy feeding each other.
-Albert enjoys holding Haru, almost as much as he enjoys lying in Haru's arms.
-Albert and Haru are beautiful mermen.
-During warm days, Haru and Albert relax in an inflatable pool together. It's a bit cramped, but they don't mind.
-When playing video games together, both Albert and Haru are competative in a healthy way. Neither one is a sore loser, and they cheer each other up after a loss. (Sometimes Haru gets distracted by Albert's long fingers and ends up losing a round).
-Swimsuit shopping together is fun. Albert appreciates Haru's finese for detail.
-Both of them have such strong goals of being the best swimmer they can be. As a couple, it only strengthens their bond.
-Before Haru and Albert started dating, Haru would relax in his tub and that was it. Now though, Haru likes bathing with Albert. Haru has become used to the different scented candles that his boyfriend likes. Each time there is a new scent. When Haru points it out, Albert's eyes shine and he launches into why he chose the candle.
-Albert is so excited to hug Haru for the first time, that he literally lifts him off the ground.
