gonna imagine the situations hmmm of love with NaLu let's see if natsu as haru could have, i mean, the same feelings, or thoughts about their woman in a distant time (when natsu realizes that he loves lucy as haru did with elieeeeeee)

So I've reached volume 15 of Rave Master.

The group is only just, really, starting to expand and form. It's rather late but it's happened pretty naturally with the expansion of the storyline. But let's go to my favourite subject: shipping. Oh. My. God. Haru's complete and unashamed adoration of Elie and his absolute lack of reservation when it comes to bold declarations on her behalf ("I'm not gonna save the world because it's the right thing to do I'm gonna do it because that dick made Elie cry" for example) is so utterly adorable that I'm reduced to tumblr speak such as 'I can't even..'. And I'm so sorry for ever rolling my eyes at any Haru/Elie parallels with Nalu because, yeah, they are totally there and that sort of behaviour is obviously what Mashima considers romantic and he has totally been applying those little traits to Natsu with regards to Lucy. Lucy gets any blushes and adoring smiles and typical shoujo-ish behaviours that reveal romantic moods or sexual tension but Natsu gets all the bold protective statements and sweet motions that Mashima has already used in a romantic light with Haru. So, yeah, Rave Master has convinced me that Mashima is building a romance between Natsu and Lucy based on what he's already used as romantic gestures previously. It's more subtle than Haru and Elie and longer building, but the signs, dynamics and moments are definitely there.
