My lovely swarm is doing amazing and already has lots and lots of nectar and pollen storing up! I'm so happy for them~ X3 They are all bundled up in one side of the box, opposite the entrance. Probably because it was a very small swarm that I captured and about this time of day, they are all out foraging. They are also very well tempered. No smoke or suit was used and they all stayed in the box for the most part. I still haven't found the queen, but I can hear SOMETHING going "beep beep beep beep beep" in there every once in a while. I also couldn't get a very good look at the last frame because there were just so many bees on it. I'm going to assume that that is one of the brood frames, and also where the queen is.

Also no raiding allowed.

Pouring probably 10-13 thousand bees in to my very first ever top bar hive. It's not spectacular, but it's still a hive. And I don't have any other hives that I can use for them...yet. They were just boiling out of it from every possible crack. The miracle queen is still in the cage in the bottom so they stay. The awesome story behind these girls will be coming soon*
