gettin notes on my art, gettin a really nice ask in the art blog, the fact that my friends are The Best and Most Supportive people and i love them, that feeling when you find the perfect article to cite in an essay, AND the fact that i got an A for my screenplay which I was rly proud of and I wasn’t sure if the lecturer would enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that’s fair, and tbh i don’t actually know where in china this guy’s supposed to be from, but it’s a bit of a kneejerk reaction because 99% of the time pronunciation that isn’t correct for mandarin is just non-chinese people having no idea what they’re doing

(the wiki says he’s from shanghai, and i don’t actually know anything about shanghai chinese, but some quick googling seems to imply hui would still be pronounced hway in that, so really this is just no one involved having any idea about chinese pronunciation)
