Haselden and Willie Watkins started dating only a couple of days after Watkins crashed in Spain. The MI5 team knew nothing of this. Jean had her suspicions tho because of the way Haselden talked about him over the phone but there were bigger things to worry about then their relationship.
Imagine how happy Jean was but how shocked the others were when a couple months later, Haselden arrives at MI5 (for a visit or something) with the guy who nearly destroyed their plan.
Of course Jean is the one who is most happy about it
