Lunch assembly and distribution

Hashtag Lunchbag began with a small groups of friends who wanted to feed the homeless in their Los Angeles community. A few photos were shared on social media and a new movement evolved. Chapters (my designation, not theirs) sprang up all over the country and in Canada. You may learn more about HashtagLunchbag at www.hashtaglunchbag.com

This chapter, #HashtagLunchbagFairfield-Vacaville, will pack and distribute lunches on designated Saturdays. If you want to volunteer and you’re in Solano County, CA, please consider volunteering with us.

The goal is to pack at least 100 lunches but we will pack and deliver as many as we can. It’s simple: sandwich, cookie, fruit, a bottle of water and a nice note. I added some candy and a snack-sized bag of chips/cookies.
