thank you so much! i am endlessly thankful to @thirtybythirty for everything he does, and the UI he created drives me INSANE. he colorpicked the themes from the User Interface Design Bible!!!!!!! it makes me want to Cry!!!!!!!

grayson has been so instrumental in anything getting done. not only because he has been coding everything (thank you thank you thank you to him), but as it turns out, if he sits in the same room as me, i am much more likely to get writing done.

i DID finally manage to get to play phantom liberty!!!!! i went back to an old job so was able to get a ps5 hehe. recently i have been watching grayson replay phantom liberty in order to choose the other route, so i have a lot of feelings. but, to keep this extremely brief:

phantom liberty is such a labor of love. i do not enjoy navigating dogtown (the minimap is not kind to different levels), but the phantom liberty questline is breathtaking.

we left off on that quest last night so i just need to iterate that i fuck with the cassel twins and songbird and no one else (and alex)

selfishly adding that songbird and a certain a life supeen cast member have similar motivations and methods.

i am sorry because i do not think this list is what was being asked for but phantom liberty is good, and i love that they do not spare on the empathy. you can still take songbird to the stars even after everything. the ending quest haunts me and makes me cry. just. holy fuck. god damn holy fuck

to be fair. the entire interro. made it pretty clear ??? lmfao like honestly i actually like that they chose this route for angell because to me it shows that 'salvation' doesn't look the same for everyone, yet nevertheless, angell still deserves it. i also love that chief doesn't force her to stay or anything like that, and respects angell's decision to remain in the shadows. like they showed in those final scenes, it's not like they can never see each other again. what they have is different, and that's fine !!! that's them, and the value of a relationship is determined only by the people within it. if it works for them it works, yk? anyway 10/10 interro, loved it, it gets a solid A rank

CONGRATS !!! s1 shalom is super good, and s3 is cracked, if you can get it. i soooo understand losing the 50/50 TWICE… same thing happened to me on lomi’s release 😭😭😭 i only got her s1 but now i have her s5 and it feels almost surreal ngl. funnily enough though i lost on her banner at some point during the current rerun and got coquelic lmao. meemaw heard my simpery and had to pull up to see for herself alchdikfncs congrats again though !!! live laugh love shalom

SEV HAVE U PLAYED THE NEW PTN EVENT YET im only on like chapter 2 of it but just from a conceptual standpoint this is so cool? i have so many questions about how this works

it is very cool that aisno is willing to write 4th wall breaks to some extent, though i think the 4th wall breaking isn’t very central to the story in terms of conflict, moreso the concept of predestiny/fate/determinism it represents. kind of like set dressing, if that makes sense? comparatively, in rb+fu, paradeisos and the underground were pretty central to the story in a way ‘our’ world isn’t. anyway, besides that, overall i’d say the story is quite enjoyable. zero’s parts didn’t tickle my brain as much as moore’s, but i liked the arc of her character. she’s finding her own way, and i love that she embraces her undefinition as infinite possibility. i also love chief’s sheer refusal to acknowledge the existensial crisis right in front of her eyes lmao anyway i’ll hold off giving more thoughts for now because the event is really new and i wouldn’t wanna spoil it for anyone maybe playing through it late.

omg frfr suzie yeung has climbed up to my goat for voice actresses in the last year, her performance as owo in the discars event unironically had me bawling my eyes out and then she's voiced fuuka in p3 reload and yuffie in the ff7 remake she's everywhere, and i really love her as piper just the range on that lady chefs kiss
