Some things that happened while I was gone
- I associate the Japanese word “うまい” (umai) with food that tastes really good (or as “slang” for おいしい oishii), but I’ve recently learned it is used in other good circumstances too, but imagine my surprise when I told a coworker that I wanted to study Japanese more until I’m nearly fluent and he responded “絶対にうまくなるよ” (You’ll definitely get better) using the word “うまい” (which I interpreted as “You’ll definitely get tastier”) AJSDKFLAJ BYE
- I usually type the first three letters to a url and expect my browser to finish it for me but tumblr isn’t in my browser history rn (I often use it incognito) so I keep getting google searches for “tum” and, well, that’s fun
- I’m not That Smol but why is it that I kept getting told that I was so tiny? (help >w<)
