By Sept 30, 1942, #HastingsPark Assembly Centre is officially closed. Drumming at #HastingsPark Livestock Barns. Heartbeats of 8,000 #JapaneseCanadians who were held here before being shipped to camps like the rest of the 22,000 who were uprooted, dispossessed, and interned.
