Honestly think that Zanyou should be up there with Garasu no Hanazono as one of the gayest LL songs ever written. I know I'm just being yuribaited, but the choreo literally gets gayer every time it's performed. It's also just a really romantic song to me? Both of them think they have to hold back their feelings, which is so perfect for Kozue and Kaho's relationship at the time the song released. Basically every 103rd song is a KozuKaho song (if you are pure of mind and a true believer), but Zanyou is even more blatant than HoliHoli, imo.

I finally got BGP working on my computer--the default video player wasn't playing the sound for some reason.

I really like Maika, and I desperately hope they don't fumble her like they did with Kanon post-S1E3. I don't want her to stay miserable forever, I just don't want her to be rewritten into a completely different character in the space between one episode and the next. It didn't come across like organic character growth, and it completely killed my interest in Superstar.

That aside, as fun as it would be for them to surprise us, I'm pretty sure Maika will be in Cerise Bouquet. Before the movie, I was wondering if she referred to the club as "The place where Hinoshita Kaho was" out of admiration, or out of scorn. Now that we know it's solidly the former, I assume they'll go the route of having Maika join the same unit as the girl who inspired her. Aoi's the one I'm not sure about--while her looks suggest DOLLCHESTRA, she's clearly got something going on with the now-disbanded Edel Note. Maybe they'll reuse the canceled (?) 105th story about Ceras trying to decide which unit to join and add Aoi's decision into the mix?

As bummed as I am that 106th won't get the benefit of Linkura to flesh them out more, I'm still excited for them! BGP was a nice passing of the torch from the 103rd girls to the 106th girls (minus Mion, who we still know nothing about lmao).

I'm so excited for 106th... I wish we could hear the new girls' singing voices, and I hope we do before next January. They're probably going to go the obvious route of Maika -> Cerise Bouquet, Aoi -> DOLLCHESTRA, and Mion -> Mira-Cra Park, but I'd love to be proven wrong. I sooooo badly want Mion to be a Yohane-like character in that she has a deep/powerful register to her voice, despite her looks. Maika seems more reserved than Kaho, so having her become the tsukkomi of MiraPa would be hysterical. Aoi can be in CeriBou because.......she and Ginko both wear tights or something lmao

Another thing I'd like to see is 106th units doing 103rd unit songs, to show that these songs are now in the rotation and part of Hasunosora's tradition. New, ship-of-Theseus'd versions of Suisai Sekai, AWOKE, and Do!Do!Do! would be so cool, especially since we've already had in-universe discussion about 104th being welcomed to sing those songs and pass them down. I was kind of bummed that 105th didn't have any new versions of the 103rd songs that weren't written that year in-universe. I assume that anything that got a "104th NEW version" release was a song previous alumna had written?

ouuuuughhhhh they're packing up Kaho's room........ I thought 103rd's graduation wouldn't get to me as much as 102nd's, but this is diabolical.
