     another ASSIGNMENT, except this time there’s no way he’s slipping past this woman.  he spares her a brief look before inhaling a sharp breath, aggravation present.  he doesn’t bother hiding it, most citizens of europe knew he was wanted, he couldn’t risk having some governor’s daughter turning him into the authorities, not when he was this close to nabbing a particularly nasty vampire.  “i do not mean to insult you, miss, but you have no idea what it is i’m up against, this creature is of high social standing in this area, infiltrating his ball won’t be difficult for me, i highly recommend you turn the other cheek.”  he is not bringing a civilian along.

    Smoke-like form twists forth amidst the shadows, casting the ship in a gentle rocking motion as he goes ( he is the sea, he is the sea ). When he finally emerges, the body he steps over twitches once before returning to its permanent resting state and his crew begins to fade into the wood. ❛ Captain Turner, ❜ he greets simply in a voice as rough as the storm-tossed ocean.

one     could     take     some     observation     notes     in     how     𝙹𝙰𝙲𝙺     took     extra     care     in     cleaning     and     polishing     his     cutlass     blade.     although     no     shine     came     from     its     worn     blade,     each     dips     and     crevices     were     left     neat     and     simple     but     still     as     graceful     as     its     first     day     spent     in     the     𝙿𝙸𝚁𝙰𝚃𝙴     𝙲𝙰𝙿𝚃𝙰𝙸𝙽’s     hands.     as     he     finished,     his     dark     gaze     went     up     to     the     intruder     of     his     quiet     and     restless     thoughts.     from     there,     a     grin     spread     on     his     lips     as     they     peeled     away     from     gold,     silver     and     white     teeth.     she     stood     very     close     to     where     he     sat     and     yet     too     far.     ❝     i     would     love     you,     luv     but     ye     and     i     make     an     IMPOSSIBLE     PAIR,     don’t     we?     ❞     the     smile     lingered     but     its     light     vanished     just     a     tad,     enough     to     be     unmistakably     visible.
