@hatinghamish liked for a starter from Bruce Wainwright!
Bruce was starting to worry. At least a little. Officer Gordon... Officer Gordon Hoover didn’t trust him. He never should have tried to take such a direct approach, even if it was for Robin’s sake. Even if he had any useful information, it wouldn’t be any use. He didn’t want to make things worse... Especially now that he was learning how this... thing he managed to manifest really worked...
A deep breath. He needed a break from Gotham. So he had told his Uncle Alton he was taking a brief vacation to London, a place he hadn’t been since he was in boarding school. He just hoped the... creature would stay in Gotham. Not follow him. He could use the alibi. Not that anything could really be linked to him.
Eyes flicked up from the paper in his hands to catch another set on him. It wasn’t unusual for him, really. He was used to it in Boston where a good few people had heard of him... For a moment he was worried Officer Hoover somehow had him tailed but that was mindless. Curious, he got up, walking over to the other man’s table.
“Evening,” he said with the usual charming smile that had helped him earn his reputation as a playboy, a hand held out, “Bruce Wainwright. Mind if I sit with you?”
