Hatstache Week 2022 Prompts!
Hatstache week is a seven-day event from December 11th to December 17th dedicated to celebrating the friendship between Hat Kid and Mustache Girl from the indie platformer, A Hat in Time, which each day dedicated to a prompt meant to inspire users to create fanart, fanfiction, or anything else in the medium they desire!
Both platonic and romantic interpretations of the ship are welcome as long as they are age-appropriate. NSFW content is strictly prohibited.

"Let’s go egg some Mafia buildings sometime, yeah?” Leaning against the white brick walls of an old, half-demolished building and waiting in the rain, Mustache Girl felt stupid. Stupid for proposing that idea. Stupid for expecting anyone, much less a girl who probably had a family and a home waiting for her somewhere, to go along with it.

The Future
That ghost really had been their friend…
2 years ago, he’d adopted them both. Well, he’d grumbled about it and said “I guess you can hang around my forest” when he realised Mu had nowhere to live. Then they’d started sleeping on his chair, so he’d made them a bed.
But basically, he’d adopted them.
He’d been reading them a lot of stories, today he was reading them one about a haunted house with a babysitter going mad, also some screws turning apparently. Mu didn’t really see why the screws were relevant but whatever, the story was good.
Snatcher said it was one of his favourites.

She’d called him ‘Dad’ the other day. Usually when Hat Kid called him that he freaked out and yelled that he was not her dad, but with her, he’d simply patted her head, with a soft “sure kid”.
The next day he took them both to wreck Mafia Town, they’d thrown blue paint all over the mafia and made them look stupid! (And he’d taken several souls as a snack).
Some days she wondered if Hat Kid was gonna abandon them to go back home, but her friend had told her that this planet was her home now, and that she’d stay forever.
