A sprig of mistletoe appeared at the top of her window, just above the Cat's favorite perch at her sill. It jiggled for a moment before he popped his head into view, upside down and looking rather smug. "A little birdie told me you were locked up tonight for being naughty," Trix purred, still pinching the mistletoe between his fingers. "Naturally, I had to come by and see if there was still some left for me." (( Teen HatTrix AU???? IDK????!!!???))

She had gotten caught stealing. Not that she ever stole much -- always keys, or books, or art supplies. Things her mother thought were pointless trinkets or pursuits. Regardless, being caught had caused her to be locked up. Grounded. The girl hated it, because it kept her from some of the Winter Holiday festivities that were now beginning to pop up over the land. Her mother knew how Leiella loved this time of year.
Lei was sitting on the window seat, looking out, when her eye caught the sight of the plant hanging down. She giggled when she saw the green eyes that belonged to her beloved Cat. “The birdie was right, but all that I took was a rusty old key no one was using...like always. She doesn’t under stand...”
With that rant off of her chest, she stood on the window seat, pulling Trix closer -- lips ghosting his. “Now, for you, yes, I can always be a bit naughty,” she murmured, kissing him. “Does this mean you’re my present for this year?”
