Rydia shook her head, then forced a smirk at Tidus. Maybe she shouldn’t worry this much. Maybe things would get better soon. But she had been so happy to meet with her friends again when she had first seen them, and they didn’t even remember her. Edge didn’t know who she was. Cecil, Rosa and Yang only remembered her as a child. It hurt, much more than she wanted to admit.

“I’m alright.” She said, her eyes remaining on him. “It’s just... I wish my friends could remember me, for who I am now.”

“You’re so dramatic, Tidus. I’m the leading man here. Of course, I can get hurt sometimes, but I’m doing fine.” Balthier assured, a way too playful smirk on his features for the situation. He appreciated the other’s concerns, but he was also used to this. He was used to take care of the others first, so that kind of injury could always happen to someone like him.

He cleared his throat. “That being said, I will sleep. You don’t have to worry about me.” He assured, keeping his smirk on his features. This world was so weird, with so many people who had been through similar things. Maybe it was a bit RELIEVING, though, even if he would never say it out loud.
