Spook Of The Day #201 • The victims of a bridge collapse in Ireland are still seen trying to escape the river they drowned in
In 1763, John’s Bridge in Kilkenny collapsed. 16 fatalities were recorded as they were swept away in the swollen Nore river.
But 250 years later the victims of the tragedy can still be seen clawing at the banks in a bid to escape the icy Irish waters.
These spirits are also reported resting in the location where the bridge once stood before its demise and rising on the mist.
