a quick avrae dice roll tutorial to be used in the group!
How to use the Avrae bot in regard to this group. There are several ways to use this bot, but here is a general idea of how to use it in our group. Along with an active example of how it is used. This is great for deciding things about your character, an outcome in a roleplay, & more. This is a dnd style of using the dice. Here is an explanation about DND roleplaying in writing! If you need more help then please reach out to the admin team!
You are going to want to write !roll down in the messages chat
Write next to !roll how many dice you want to roll. For the most part, in this group, it will be 1.
Next, you will put a d down next to the 1.
After that, you will add a number of how many numbers you want on the dice. In this case, I put 30.
Hit send & a message will pop up! The total is the answer of what the roll has made. So you have rolled a 16!
Here is a quick copy / paste for the group that all you have to do is replace the number after the D with whatever number that you want.

Alright, when you get accepted into the group & get the PLAYERS ROLE, then you should see a bunch of things on your sidebar pop up. What's highlighted in pink is our house for all Discord-related interactions. What's highlighted in blue is the fun section that we are going to be talking about in this mini tutorial.
When you click the social media section, you will be brought up to a bunch of forms. Click any of them to enter the section that interests you the most.
PRIVATE : ( marked on the top ) are things that other characters can't see ( but you can still heart the post to show that you saw it )
PUBLIC : ( marked on the top ) are things that characters can see & react to & thus are public knowledge.
We are going to go into the Instagram section. The pinned section is highlighted in blue. This is where I pinned all of the templates to help you out. There is no need to hunt down your own template or anything of that nature. Alright,
Ignore what's in the text box, my dog stepped on my laptop. Anyways, the blue section is what you want to highlight to bring up the pop-up, & the pink section is what you want to click next. This will copy the formatting for you.
You copied the text, so now you can paste it into the text box! Now adjust as needed to your liking. Remember, though, unless you have Nitro, you will not be able to use the little emojis that are custom to the server. I made all the emojis on the server for member use. But you can now edit this boy up.
This doesn't cover using Tupper, but make sure to use your Tupper bot when you hit send! You are also now in the thread & will see everyone else's replies to this forum.
