10. Most disliked arc? Why?
I’m going to go with andrew’s medication because it’s such bullshit and so wildly inaccurate. Also the fact that he doesn’t take any meds later on? fake. and if bee had any power in getting him off his drugs and if she was in charge of keeping track of his medication, why didn’t she try to change it when she saw how badly diagnosed andrew was? i’m just. it makes no sense.
also, it’s not really an arc but any time andrew bosses neil around in tfc and neil just caves in? fuck exy man i would’ve laughed at andrew’s face and gotten back to sleep instead of going out to columbia lol “you’ll learn to do exactly as i say” lmfao yeah keep talking.
11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
i feel like i like aaron? idk if he’s that unpopular, but although he’s a dick (who isn’t?) and homophobic in the series, the potential for growth is there and i like it. i like how angry at the face of the world and how ready to prove people wrong he is (unlike andrew, who’s fine with letting them assume the worst of him because he doesn’t care).
12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
I’m... actually okay with andreil not getting married/not saying i love you. i like the other one as well, i just understand what nora wanted to do by saying this and i get it. not every relationship should be held to same standards--there shouldn’t even be standards-- and although considering their lives/profession it makes sense for them to get married, it’s not the end all, be all of every relationship and i’m also absolutely fine with them never doing it
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
it’s a good fandom! at least i’ve managed to surround myself with people that i like and respect, and i’ve generally had a good response to my posts/fics which is the best. i’m happy there.
i just feel like we as a whole tend to be very single-minded and mix fanon/headcanons with canon a lot. i always have to take a step back and wonder if i’m just following a general trend or my actual reaction to the characters/books.
15. Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
can’t really answer this one, but i have to say that i’m glad there’s no show for this series, because i hate it when the fandom gets bigger because of the show, the show is entirely different from the books, everyone only talks/makes content about the show and it’s just not the same.
