Favorite Cold Weather Drink: Rockstar. I’m a caffeine fiend, so this also goes for my hot weather drink! It’s amazing that I still have teeth.

White or Colored Holiday lights: Colored I guess! We have green and red ones on the tree. One of the neighbours has a projection thing that is blasting green stars at their house all day, its hypnotic/seizure inducing

Favorite Winter sport: does hibernation count

# of blankets I sleep with: I have a duvet, and its p heavy so thats it

Preferred Holiday Confection: I don’t know what this is, but I like getting chocolate at christmas. And all the other times.

What I’m currently wearing: pajamas. its like 9pm and I’m an old lady

Preferred snowy weather activity: Snow people making! My niece gets super into it and its fun to do. I prefer being inside and just watching snow really

Last thing you baked: I never bake. I do make some really nice soups though, sweet potato soup was the last thing I made

tbh, I didn’t think of it as being particularly “polite”, but I’ve always been of the mind that if someone is wrong, their own words or actions are enough to condemn them. you don’t need to call someone names to make your point.

however, I think were Mark and I differ is that I don’t consider calling someone a racist, or a homophobe, or whatever “calling them names”.

calling someone a mean name is calling someone a shit head, an asshole, ext, or taken to the extreme of using slurs, (the n word, the c word, and d/f words, ext)

but calling someone an antisemite for thinking “death to all jews” was an ok thing to joke about is just calling them what they are.

and if you consider that “mean”, it’s most likely because you view calling someone out on their bigotry as being more mean and offensive than their bigotry.

and lemme tell ya, there’s nothing more “mean” than policing the anger of minorities and insisting we’re the real “bullies”.

i always find low carb hard because i get so grumpy on it

That’s my secret, I’m always grumpy.

I remember that vid by some lady on yt that talks about how every body is different and has different needs and react differently to certain kinds of food so the best is always to not just force yourself through this stuff when your body is sending you signals that it is struggling with it? I really enjoyed that message because at the end of the day it’s your body and you should know best what works for you and what doesn’t as opposed to “you gotta do it 100% like everyone else does it!!!”
