Like many, I've spent the past few days reviewing and reflecting on my 2019 and while it was a good year, I know it could've been better. In fact, when I read this quote again this morning, it really hit me that I'm probably not all that different from who I was 12 months ago. Not that that's a bad thing, I just know I didn't do enough to push myself, challenge myself in new ways, and ultimately, progress in the areas I want to change and grow. So this is my declaration to the world that when I reflect back on my 2020, I WILL be a different person. Better. More disciplined. More present. More focused on what's truly important. Someone that sets goals and SMASHES them. I know it'll be a bumpy road, but I've never been one for taking the easy path anyway. Feel free to follow along as I'll be posting updates, experiences and lessons learned. I'm just "a guy" so I can't promise it'll be anything too exciting, but I've learned that day-to-day life is usually pretty mundane with the occassional incredible moments sprinkled in here and there. Here's to an AMAZING 2020! What's your outlook for these next 12 months? What do you want to accomplish?

I found myself wanting more. If you feel the same, consider partnering with me in business. If you wanna look like a million bucks but don't want to break the bank, consider shopping with me. Either way, visit my website: www.SugaredGlitz.com (The link is in my bio). #ISlingBling #5DollarBling #BecomeYourOwnBoss #paparazzi #HaveMore #hustle #MotivatedMonday https://www.instagram.com/p/BxaSU-bA0Yi/?igshid=1j1hqi2u01a89
"You shouldn't feel upset at yourself if you find out you're bad at something. You should feel happy you found out." - Ray Dalio I don't know about you, but typically, I don't like finding out I'm not good at something. It can be a tough pill to swallow and in some cases could even result in creating a story to 'excuse away' the fact I suck at something. Why do I do that? Am I really so naive to think I should be good at EVERYTHING? The older I get, the more experiences I have, and the more I learn about myself, the more I've come to appreciate the times I've identified an area where I need to improve. No, it doesn't make it any easier to swallow, but at least by recognizing my shortcoming(s) I'm able to start from a realistic spot and truly make forward progress.
