Bees are the important ones. Yellow jackets are wasps and wasps don't do shit
ahem. while I accept that yellow jackets are less important and a minority in the pollination-spreading endeavor, they are still a part of it, though should be treated with caution. Wasps on the other hand are very important and work in a very similar fashion to bees (see link)

Honestly i dont know for certain, but i can check with my dad. Ether way sugar water is the way to go as its what that eat from the flowers. Honey is stores, what there saving for later, so sugar water is the way to go for bee first aid

big brands have diluted there honey as well as put some chemicals in it which is bad for bees [read here]. its one of the reason i encourage people to buy local honey aside from the support if gives to local aviaries
