guys... dick pics... really?? still?? you didn’t get the message yet??
a close up of your shrivelly, pubey knob isn’t a pleasant thing to see.
be more inventive, send photos of other things! i got sent a photo of tea, that was nice, i appreciated that. someone else sent me a photo of their leather boots, that was also nice and much appreciated.
If the government really wants to tackle obesity they should look at schools and PE lessons rather than adding the potentially triggering calorie numbers onto menus - throughout school I hated PE because of the overly competitive nature and literally being called shit because you weren't good at that sport - being picked last and the very open bullying because it's just an "accident" if you hit me in the face with a ball or in the shins with a hockey stick because I "wasn't paying attention"
I wasn't taught anything about how to be healthy and balance a diet and exercise but I was made to run around in the freezy cold in shorts in December. Not to mention my gym had scales and we all weighed ourselves and compared - looking back I can now see how damaging that was because I was heavier than the others and I thought that was because I was fat and not because I was just taller and therefore carried a little more weight. (This was probably around when I was 14/15)
Not to mention communal changing rooms....
It wasn't until I left for uni that I realised I knew next to nothing about making sure my diet was balanced and I was able to find a sport that I enjoyed even though it was competitive and it made exercise fun.
We develop habits when we're young and its hard to change as we get older, so adapting lessons to actually teach people about their bodies rather than doing the bleep test would go a long way
okay honestly the concept of “higher vs. lower vibrational people” is so condescending to me. there are areas of personal development that everyone lacks and understanding certain things about life or the universe in relation to your self doesn’t make you any better than somebody else; we all lack understanding in some area of life that another person knows more about.
if you’re using your concept of “high and low vibration” as a way to raise yourself above other people, that’s not cool. it’s not right. it doesn’t make you superior in any way, and it’s a total contradiction. it prevents you from opening your mind to learning new things and accepting knowledge from other people who could help you develop yourself even further.
i’ve seen like 8 posts now on my dash about this kind of stuff. just because someone doesn’t necessarily align with your conceptual analysis of vibrations does not mean they’re less capable of understanding what goes into personal development and growth. if it works for you, great. life and existence is not a one size fits all learning experience.
Son gets turned down for PIP, the new disability living allowance in uk. to be honest I’m not surprised as most people do on first attempt. But dealing with arseholes on the phone who dont have any idea of autism and the contradictions in abilities. “oh its hard to believe he can get maths gcse but cant budget” “yea thats how autism works” “oh its hard to believe he can get on the bus one end and off the other, but cant concentrate to cook his own food or do his own shopping” “yea that s how autism works” “you are going off on a tangent and not listening” ooh i would tangent your head if you were here. If it was just me i will tell you stick it up your arse. My boy will be ok he has me and his dad to support him, but there are many who dont and wont be ok.
So an event happened yesterday that I’m still mad about today.
the TLDR version is: According to this one vegetarian I know showing dead animals on FB is okay as long as they’re not a common pet or food animal...
This woman - who I am only friends with on FB because we are a part of the same LARP group - posted a picture of her cat with a dead mouse. Said dead mouse was missing its front right arm and was very bloody. She was praising her cat for catching and killing the mouse, which is not really an issue. I’ve also had mousers and they are great to have as much as finding dead mice in your bed is.
What’s not great is posting a dead animal on Facebook. Now this woman is a vegetarian, and the kind of vegetarian that WILL NOT let you forget it. Every event we have where potlucks are involved and allergies are asked about she lets everyone know she’s a vegetarian. Not an allergy, but whatever I digress.
I’m all for being proud of our pets accomplishments, but I also happen to own 4 rodents myself - wonderful little fancy rats that are hilarious and have very loving and unique personalities. I commented that, hey, you know as someone with rodents for pets this is a bit upsetting for me and the praise would have worked just as well as a text post.
As someone who is a vegetarian I expected maybe a little sympathy and understanding as to why seeing a dead rodent (or any dead animal) on my FB feed would be upsetting. What I got was an argument that she was praising her cat and also she’s had rats and hamsters and a hedgehog and basically was just a real grade a cunt about it. Very I’m right you’re wrong how dare you criticize me for anything.
Wow.
So. a) dead animal on social media. b) dead animal that looks similar to my pets. c) taking it as a personal attack and essentially attacking me for it.
Post reported, person unfriended, still pissed because WHO THE FUCK THINKS ITS A GOOD IDEA TO POST DEAD ANIMALS ON SOCIAL MEDIA FFS
