So we were having a talk about why we wanted to go into game design in my math class today and the answers that stood out to me were 'I want to make games by myself and get rich' and 'I want to get into voice acting and cosplay'.
I swear to god there are people in this world who need to be kicked in the teeth and pushed down a long staircase. I feel like the only person who is going into this shit because I want to change someone's life. I want to help someone escape their boring, depressing and downright shitty life into another one and I want to make them happy, and here's these people with these shallow fucking reasons for spending 4 years and thousands of dollars.
Maybe I seem like some kind of elitist prick by saying all this, and I'm sorry if it does, but I needed to get it off my chest. I don't know why it makes me so angry but my god does it ever.
