It’s a challenge (albeit fun) preparing food for my friend who doesn’t have a sense of taste or smell. I work hard designing combinations with color and a lot of texture. Here is one example where I hope I’ve accomplished this for her. In doing so, I think of the chew factor, the memory for her when she did have these all important senses (that I can’t imagine not having) and the visual appeal.
