This is one of the best Diners in Denmark.
The bøfsandwich here is considered as the benchmark in our quest. The quest for Denmarks Best Bøfsandwich.
This bøfsandwich contain all the elements I like :
Homemade beef with no additives, just plain meat from the local butcher.
Homemade pickled cucumbers.
HOMEMADE GRAVY / SOVS - lots of grunt and plenty of it = happiness
Raw + Roasted onions
Pickled beetroots
Mustard, Ketchup and Remoulade
Only thing is missing : fried onions, this is supposed to be this way according to the Chef. We could argue about that. But it does not change this bøfsandwich from being just right and HIGLY RECOMMENDABLE - CERTAINLY WORTH A DETOUR.
