NARNIA LOCATIONS SERIES → ARCHENLAND. {INSPIRATION}

Archenland, officially the Kingdom of Archenland, was a mountainous country situated south of the Kingdom of Narnia and north of the Calormene Empire. Along with Narnia and other dominions, Archenland constituted part of the larger Narnian Empire. The seat of government was at Anvard, in the heart of the country. Anvard, the name of the castle, also gave the name to the city, which was the Kingdom's capital and only known populated area.

NARNIA LOCATIONS SERIES → CALORMEN. {INSPIRATION}

Calormen—or more formally, the Calormene Empire—was an empire in the south of the world of Narnia. Most of the country had a semi-arid climate, and its most notable geographic features were a volcano known as the Flaming Mountain of Lagour, and the Great Desert at its northern exterior. On Calormen's east was the Bight of Calormen, on its west were a conglomeration of unnamed nations, and on its south lay, quite possibly, the Southern Waste. The Great Desert was in the north of the country and was virtually uninhabited; the difficulty of crossing this desert prevented aggressive Calormene governments from invading Archenland and Narnia for many centuries.e Calormene Empire.

I need to vent about my day.... about how so many issues in the world are caused by lack of communication, specificity, and clarification. Will the humans NEVER learn?? So, right now I am doing Nanowrimo and I am horrendously behind. But that's what holiday weekends are for. Um, yeah. How are you? How are your writing projects?

i’m gonna be real with you i have a very low expectation for humanity in general and it’s pretty depressing so yeah in as many words, no, i don’t think we will ever learn

that’s awesome that you’re doing nanowrimo! i’ve never done it before because i’ve always just been working on other things and i know myself too well to even think for one second that some online contest thingy is going to motivate me to write if i’m not already motivated

as for my projects, gooooooodddd, i’ve been working on this one book for like two years because i’ll go through periods of a couple months where i don’t write at all? and then two weeks when i’ll write like 3 chapters?? idk it’s bad. but this one is soooooo close to being done, i’m talking maybe four or five more chapters to go until the first draft is finished. that close. 20k-30k words. someone needs to come kick my ass and make me finish it. also, i got the idea for my next project over the summer and started planning things out, making names, plotting it out, getting ideas for character subplots, all that jazz, which i don’t typically do, so i’m basically more than ready to start working on it right now and part of me really wants to work on that??? but if i really get into it, i’ll neglect this current project even more than i already do. so, i’m sticking to still planning or writing down short specific scenes in my notes on my phone, and fruitlessly trying to work on the current project.

tonight i’m pretty sure i’m just too tired to write. i mean. i probably could. but i’m like...... constantly making typos and stuff. so it might not be the best idea right now.

but i really hope you’re able to get some writing down this month. any little bit eventually adds up!!
