Noting that everything past his question seemed more playful than threatening, Jack decided to lower his staff. Though, he wasn't letting his guard down. Not when this girl was here to cut his hair. Clearly. His own lips turned up into an amused smirk. "Yeah, I'm even more sure now. Haircuts are definitely not part of greeting someone. Unless it is where you're from. I mean, sure that's cool and all, but I'd rather not get some weird haircut. I doubt I'd even look good with a fohawk."
While he talked, though, he realized he really didn't know exactly where he had decided to rest on his constant journey. All he knew was that he was glad he hadn't decided to fall asleep on this roof. He would have woken up with some weird hairstyle. Wouldn't be the first time. Heh.
It wasn't the first time that he found himself he wasn't familiar with, though. In all his years it almost impossible to see everything. Especially since the world was constantly changing. Where there was a forest before, there could be a new building or two come the next winter he visited. And so, he found himself brushing the thought off as he tugged on his pink bangs. "'Sides, don't y'think I have weird enough hair already?" he chuckled.
Not really waiting for a response, Jack rocked back on his heels before beginning to walk around the dark clad girl. She really was different. Well, pushing the hair cutting thing aside -- she was able to see him and didn't even question some weird guy hanging out on the roof with her. That had to be something, right? Though as he looked over her, he really didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. She was pale, had black hair... wore black and red; not too different from some teens he had seen through his adventures around the world.
Time to get some answers.
"Sooo, haircut girl," he mused, finishing his loop around her and leaning against his staff, "You live here or something? I mean we're kinda in the middle of nowhere -- kinda weird for you to just be hanging out on a roof waiting to give unsuspecting strangers a haircut. Unless you're some sort of haircutting ghost?" As he finished he raised his eyebrows, his fingers wiggling slightly as one would normally do when explaining the supernatural.
