Horror movie rant- Basements
Why do people have fucking basements??? Like, seriously, i don't give a fuck bout storage space ect- them bitches ALWAYS be havin demons down there!!
its storage for your demons and your ghosts- there is NO other reason
and no im not saying this cause im finding it a common trope amongst the series of movies im watching that are all in the same universe, but i AM saying out of the 3 movies ive watched so far, a basement is never a good sign
the conjuring?? Demons, ghosts and an exorsism that almost went wrong!
the conjuring 2? BESTIE IT WAS FLOODING!! EVEN WITHOUT THE DEMONS!!!
The nun??
WHY IS THERE EVEN A BASEMENT IN A NUNNERY???
OH YEAH- FOR THE FUCKING DEMONIC SATANIC RITUAL THAT NEEDS TO BE UNDONE BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS FUCKING H. CHRIST HIMSELF!!!
in conclusion:
we should seal up all basements ever
So, I, certified weenie have watched my first horror movie alone and i did notes to my friends throughout so if any horror lovers want to laugh at me, please do so
(Note- I watched ‘The Conjuring’ because someone said it was a good movie for newbies to the genre)
(Spoilers??? for the movie??? Just in case)
I feel so out of my skin, I just want to walk outside in the rain for hours
hey guys help an aspie (person with Asperger’s) out here like I’m not good with the social stuff
So I have this one class that is predominantly male (I’m talking male teacher and a ratio of 16 guys to two girls) and honestly a majority of them are rather sexist assholes (including the teacher hahaahaa kill me).
Now I’m one of the smartest if not the smartest in the class and I can be a bit standoffish because I’m highly wary - of course, I try not to be insulting - and I try to keep my mouth shut even when the boys make fun of me for my Asperger’s and my intelligence and my gender, most of these guys are football players who have girlfriends and aren’t, shall we say, academic. They were passing out forms and stuff and one of them kept calling me in a crooning voice “the lovely woman of the class” and things like “a paper for the babe/honey” and I
I turned to one of my very few friends in the class (also male) to complain bc the comments made me very uncomfortable and I felt threatened by them (since, of course, they continuously make fun of me for being a female, smart, and socially inept) and he told me to take it as compliments? But I didn’t feel comfortable? Like is this normal behavior for guys to call you an uptight bitch for months and then suddenly turn 180 and tease you by calling you a babe and “the” lovely woman of the class despite there being another girl? I don’t feel comfortable taking them as compliments and I don’t understand the situation...
My parents are proud of the guy on Nashville coming out as gay despite his dad being a total jerk about but my mom pretty much refused to accept that me liking girls was more than just a phase. *sigh*
