This is absolutely influenced by you, Ce, bit they are growing on me in a big way (insert deadpool appropriate joke here)

So in a general sense, influenced by my knowledge of the 616, and their interactions. I already adored Wade and Clint as friends.

The Avengers hate Wade, for a lot of reasons, the Avengers literally have so many bylaws and codes written into their charter (reminder that the Avengers do have rules and codes of conduct that they do have to follow and can be put on trial by council for breaking them), that Deadpool simply goes against and breaks. So that is reason number one on that.

However, out of all the Avengers, Clint is one of the few (there are others) who tolerates or even likes Wade to some extent. He and Wade are neighbors, he can work alongside Wade and has before, and sure the killing thing is their biggest difference, but like Clint's best friend is an assassin, his ex-wife and girlfriend were spies, he's around a lot of people who kill and he's managed to mostly be able to handle to be civil. He's been a shield agent, knowing full well shield has killed before.

There's a thing that I think Clint knows, is that given several circumstances and in alternate realities, alternate timelines, or if things were just slightly different, Clint may have been an assassin himself, he may have been a merc and so yeah.

But like he and Wade are neighbors, he and Wade get along outside of work, mostly. He actually does laugh or smile about Wade's humor sometimes, and when they have worked alongside each other, Wade's got the banter style that is similar Clint's own.

And there are other canon things I could talk about that I love, that makes me love them as a dynamic and then chatting with you, and our Earth-universe, and what we are writing with them and ahhhhhhhh now I'm fully on the hawkpool train and love them as a ship. Like they are cute unsurprisingly, and just now I'm gonna be thinking about them obsessively, can not function normally only hawkpool thoughts.
