Feelings are messy.

I don't know what this is. It feels like my heart is broken, but it doesn't seem to fully understand it's own pain. I'm sad for something that never was, and may never be. It hurts in a different way than any breakup could ever cause. And honestly, it hurts almost just as much.

I think knowing you had the potential to be more than friends hurts more than not having any feelings at all. It’s like, why believe things could’ve been more without knowing that you couldn't do anything about it?

Well, that’s life, and I don’t want my life to be a planned out formula, no matter how much it hurts.

But thank you, for allowing me to be your first mutual crush in your life. I think you are a really special girl. And I thought we really could've been something.
