I don’t think Jervis would be a tea snob. That man adds so much sugar into his tea. I don’t think even southern tea would be a shock to him. Though the ice cubes may leave him a bit boggled.
In Secret Six, he’s dumping what seems to be a box of sugar, into his tea, and a lot of sugar by the looks of it. (See crappy diagram below.) Which one could argue adding THAT much sugar muddles the flavor of the tea if such a person were a tea snob.
He generally has his tea hot from what I’ve seen in the comics, but I don’t think he mentions any temperature preference anywhere nor what tea he prefers either.
In Alice in Wonderland, the Hatter has hot tea, but the specific tea type isn’t mentioned. So, Jervis, in alignment with the book Hatter, might have a temperature preference aligned with the books. The tea itself is most likely a generic black tea, or other favorite teas from the time period the book was from, like Assam or Earl Grey.
He’s probably an all-tea enjoyer kind of fellow, with a preference for black teas. I doubt he’d have a vendetta against how other’s enjoy their tea, or get up in the air if someone likes honey in their tea over cream and sugar. Cream and sugar being common for afternoon/high tea.
Though I don’t think he’d ever appreciate if someone called tea. “Hot leaf juice” /ref
