OSHA made major changes to the Hazard Communication Standard in 2012. One of those changes was updating the older MSDS format to the newer 16-section SDS outlined in the GHS guidelines.
It was required that by June 1st, 2015, all MSDS documents had to be replaced with SDS format versions. That was nearly 9 years ago now, but maybe go double-check those yellowed pages shoved in the back of the safety binder anyways.
