Hazel Powell Spooling Performance
Went to see Hazel Powell's Spooling exhibition opening last night at the DOK Artist Space!
The performance, film, weaving and print is about how we communicate with each other and how our stories or often pasted on by others and become untrue because of the extra bits people add. Powell seems to be very inspired by nature and memory, which she says "the geographical landscape is looked to as a memory archive" the exhibition questions whether the landscape can tell stories too.
