a message from our fierce, bizarre, beautiful boy: "hey- zoro nation: uh, I dunno... happy holidays er, ok whatever"
This part of zoro's storyline is on my mind. The foreshadowing in wano, stabs my animanga heart- that the side effect from the healing method used for zoro will be an unimaginably worse pain than what he would experience healing naturally. Zoro would've chosen the medicine anyway, but I think there's an even deeper resolve because of what happened just before.
Luffy passes out on the roof. Zoro's protection involves his abiding willingness to die for Luffy and the whole scene so clearly communicates his intense worry and desperation. We don't get many lengthy scenes or dialogue about the two's commitment to one another, but this though short is precious and powerful.
Then Luffy says two things:
who doesn't love writing for zoro (and shota)? woops thats rhetorical so I don't wanna here it ok so anyway the actual writing part right now aka 7:whatever pm EST, is similar to when something's loading digitally and it takes about 10 seconds to get to 98% then hangs out there for 29 minutes. that was a damn good grade in school, however in this instance-
And I'm a proofreader (using the hazel style manual for grammar) and I like tightening the thing up before I post it... 300 words or a zillion. That 2% is a cool challenge and not some sort of oppressive perfectionism. It just takes awhile
So onward! I'm gonna eat some celebratory skittles when I finish it
because the world needs more soft zoro. never too much soft zoro around, ever ♥️

Zoro of course supported luffy’s commitment/mini-mission to heal Otama but Uncle Z took such good care of his little “brat/kid/pipsqueak” niece, legitimately worried (the way he does “worried”) when she was ill and thrilled (the way he does “thrilled”) when she recovered. Luffy’s influence is obvious in terms of progressively juicing more compassion from him. juicing, I think, not generating because there’s a well of it already in him. don’t get me started on Otama, my little dope ass honorable cutie pumpkin pie i’m gonna put her in my pocket. I’m just passed these wano episodes do not tell me if she’s actually a shit headliner or whatever
zoro's initials are really the origin for the term rizz and if you argue with me about this you'll win
zoro's my blue ribbon baby and my gold medalist guy
let's revisit the truth that zoro loves 90s r&b: zoro loves 90s r&b. I think about that often, and you should think about it then let's meditate on it together
