Absolutely gorgeous costumes (though I've only seen the second season because Peter).

A perfectly good reason, tbh, and the costumes are pretty damn impeccable  I watched the first season through just so I’d know approximately what was going on in season 2, and honestly it’s worth it, both seasons are very very good.

Yes, yes it is.  Honestly there is so much pretty in that show, it’s a little alarming (also has my favorite PCap performance outside of Twelve and is the origin of The Tie Shot that’s one of the most gorgeously lit things I’ve ever seen in my gd life can I please send a fruit basket to the director of photography like damn)

I don’t know, I liked Edwin. He was right; Pilfrey was bothering his mother and that *really* wasn’t cool.

What tipped me over the edge with Edwin was when he broke into his mother’s email account to send misleading emails under her name with the sole purpose of reinforcing Ronnie’s delusion. 

Pilfrey only went completely bonkers after getting Edwin’s emails --  as far as he know, Estelle was finally telling him what she really wanted and he responded accordingly. Edwin wasn’t helping his mother with his opposite-Cyrano act; he was making everything ten times worse for her. 

Pilfrey was Estelle’s professional client.  Sure, he was a bit out of order, but Estelle could more then take care of herself.  The only reason she kept having meetings with him was because he was being recruited by another company and if he went she would NEVER have to see him again -- something that Edwin thoroughly put the kibosh on when he set Pilfrey’s nervous breakdown in motion.

Oh yeah, you don't want to get on the wrong side of Jessica Fletcher. Or the right side for that matter. Either way you're going to be added to her almost endless list of victims. If she doesn't murder you horribly, she's going to frame you for one (or more!) of her murders and why take the chance?

Well, I have to say, flattery will get you everywhere! Thanks very much, especially about the filmography. I hope you enjoy TTOI. Even though I'm not hugely keen on series 4 in general-- although there are some specific things I like very much indeed -- I still love the rest of it unreservedly and Malcolm is still my favorite Peter role.

(Also, I took note of your tags and just so you know, I do plan to have another post very soon on the all important topic of the application of running water to a certain person's form as an aid to cleanliness.)
