It’s not only an almost-jewel-like, rich onion-peel colour, it’s the colour of Johannesburg at sunset. With complex layers of citrus, red fruit, and citrus the nose is elegant and inviting. Great acidity and red fruit on the palate make it a joyous food-pairing wine. It also kept unfolding, and had great depth and intensity.
