I was waiting for him to get off the plane and come greet his fans after landing. Yes, I'm a Directioner. I don't usually feel the need to go bombard the boys with the rest of the crazy fans, especially after they get off a long flight. But I realized this could be my only chance to ever meet them, or at the very least Harry.
I didn't need a picture or an autograph. I just wanted to hug him. These boys changed my life. Harry especially never judges fans or women. He knows that everyone is different and he truly believes that every girl is beautiful. He helped me accept myself the way I am. All I wanted to do was thank him.
I heard the girls start screaming and looked up from where I sat to see a swarm forming around the boys. Well, here goes nothing. I got up and made my way to group. It was nearly impossible to make it through to the front, but somehow I managed. Harry was just a little to my left, very slowly making his way through the people while taking pictures and signing autographs. The rest of the boys had already passed my current position before I made it to the front so really Harry was my last chance. Harry was taking a picture now with the girl right next to me. This was it. I'm next.
He paused for a moment and looked expectantly at me, waiting for me to produce a pen or my phone for a picture.
"Can I just have a hug?" I said, sounding a lot more confident than I really was.
He blinked, shocked that was all I wanted. He smirked a little. "You sure, love?"
I nodded, a shy smile spreading across my face. His smirk quickly turned into a genuine smile. He pulled me in and gave me the most loving hug, actually squeezing me a little tighter than I expected him to.
"Thank you" I whispered while he was still holding me, losing some of my confidence. I could tell the other fans were getting a little jealous and a lot were taking pictures.
He pulled away a little and looked at me. He creased his brows a little, thinking, searching my face for something. I just stood there with his hands on shoulders.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Katrina" I replied quietly.
He smiled. "Thank YOU, Katrina." He kissed my forehead gently and moved on to the rest of the waiting fans.
I stood there watching after him, very confused at what just happened.
Later that day, when I was sitting in my room scrolling through twitter, a certain tweet caught my attention.
"Harry_Styles: Met a beautiful fan today who made me realize just how much we really mean to you all. Thank you Katrina .xx"
