H A Z U L A --- EXCUSE YOU TWO. JUST EXCUSE YOU. The shipper count is going up in the slightest. At least there's more than one person who ships this. Besides me. The fact that the whole 'opposites attract' thing is my weak spot is really not helping and like I mean come on. Hahn was going to be Chief eventually, and I think Yue's death would've made him Chief sooner. That's just me. And since we only know so much about Hahn's character, I feel like the list of headcanons are endless.

He could have became Chief after the war.

He could have talked to Yue every night with no one knowing.

He could have had a reason that he acted the way he did because of something that happened to him when he was young.

He could have gained spirituality from that -- hell, this little shit could've been a waterbender.

Which means that he'll need a master.

Which means that he could have wanted help from the best -- Katara.

Which means that he probably could've gone to the Fire Nation.

There was a knock at her door. "Enter," Azula drawled. Safe to say, the person standing on the other side of that door was a pleasant sight. "You." "You." Hahn smirked, tilting his head. "Me," she sighed obnoxiously, casting a brief glance out the window. "I'm currently not expecting any visitors today," she stated in her business tone. "Well you're just gonna have to make an exception." Hahn walked into her office at full stride, and, her smirk growing, she swiftly stood from her seat and walked around her desk to meet him in the middle. He grabbed her hips and pulled her close, the latter leaning up to latch their lips together, her fingers knotting in his hair as they kissed. "I'm surprised you survived my brother's wrath," she murmured against his mouth, teasingly lingering away from his lips every time he attempted to capture them again. "He didn't even leave a scratch." He tried, yet again, to reach her lips, and her smirk widened as she leaned away once more. Growling under his breath, he grabbed her face, his hands exploring uncharted territory on the way up, and pulled her bottom lip between his teeth. He got a moan from her. "Impressed?" He pulled away entirely, eyes appraising her red lips, swollen with his passionate kisses, with pride. "You're going to have to do so much better to impress m e." "Challenge accepted."

"Zuzu," Azula greeted, sauntering into his office with her signature smirk. Zuko sighed heavily at the childhood nickname that just wasn't ever going to go away. "What?" "You are done now. You will pay attention to me immediately." Azula sat down, casually propping her feet up on his desk. "Is it an emergency?" Zuko still didn't look up from his papers. "No." "Then -" He finally looked, hand giving a casual flick at her shoe. -"feet. Off." The smirk grew, and Azula lowered her legs, crossing one over the other instead. She waited until he lifted his cup of tea to his mouth until she dropped the bomb. "I'm dating now." She enjoyed watching him choke, giving a start as he regarded her with wide eyes and a dropped mouth. "W-What?!" Zuko exclaimed wildly. "I'm dating someone, dumb-dumb." "I heard what you said!" "Then why did you question me?" Zuko wheezed. "I'm the Fire Lord! I have the right to question you! And you're my sister!" "Which makes it worse, doesn't it?" Zuko leaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Azula--" "Yes, dear brother?" He squinted at her over his knuckles. "You're not lying about this, are you?" "Now why would I do that?" She stole his mug and sniffed at it, before lifting it up to her lips to taste. "This tea is dreadful. I don't know why our fuddy duddy uncle still bothers with his so-called 'business'." Azula arched an eyebrow in challenge, and he mimed her pointedly. Their stare-down lasted for a solid ten seconds before Zuko finally caved, sighing heavily and leaning forward once more. His expression took on a more serious mask than ever before. "Is it...is this serious? Between you two?" Azula sobered up in the slightest; it was her eyes that gave her away. This surprised Zuko. Azula was barely seen vulnerable. But somehow, that disguise always faded away when they were together. Azula probably loved this guy. Zuko knew she'd never admit this to him. Maybe even trusted him. And trust was a very sensitive subject. "If...If he hurts you -- in any way - " "Shouldn't you be worrying about h i s well-being?" Her lips curved up, but her eyes softened all the same. "Just...Just let me know, alright? I'll handle it." "You'll handle it," she deadpanned. "I'll handle it!" Her perfectly arched eyebrow went up again and he took a deep breath to calm himself. "I'll handle it." Azula just shook her head, and, what's even more rare - he smiled. More rare than that? It's returned. She believed him. --- But she would never tell him that.

A smirk twitched his mouth. "I managed to get in here, didn't I?" he sneered. By then, Azula had slithered out of bed and sauntered her way over to him. A slender hand smoothed up his chest, fingers shaping themselves around his shoulder blade.
