I hate being different from my parents bc it's not "Oh I have different outfit tastes or different music preferences" it's stuff they actively go against .

My parents are "there is only one god" yet I'm practicing as a baby helpol

My parents are "your gender is the sex you're born as" yet I fall under the trans umbrella

There's probably more I'm missing but these two are the main things that come to mind

And the worst part? I can't tell my parents these things. At all. Until I get my own house, which, with the way things are going, probably won't happen

Sometimes my mind tries to tell me negative things when it comes to my friends (they don't like me, etc etc) but then I remember we all make efforts to meet up and we chat daily so like screw you brain, love wins

Well y'know nothing like watching a movie that makes you realize how shitty the world's become and how there's nothing you can do besides put tape on the gaping hole of the mess around you in a meaningless effort to make a change

Sometimes I wonder how smart I really am

Like yeah academically I'm smart and I know to be careful around strangers

But also

I can be really slow at times

I might not know basic information

Most the time I don't even remember things if that can count towards how smart someone is
