My name is Christianna Silva. I live in Arizona, work a part-time retail job, I am a writer for the University of Arizona's newspaper, and I attend the U of A as a full time student studying Journalism. I am hard working, dedicated, and educated. I really love animals, I spend most of my free time (if I ever have any) reading, and I have Star Wars memorized. The notion that my sexuality has anything to do with my character is obscene. Most people have no clue that I am bisexual until we have a close, personal relationship. Now, while I am quite flattered that everyone seems to be so intently interested in who I am fucking, I'd rather not be kicked out of a restaurant or any other business because of what I do in my personal time. Really, the idea of my sexuality being involved in anything outside of my personal life is abhorrent, offensive, and destructive to not only myself but to the dignity of this entire nation. Our government is meant to represent all the people, and that shouldn't exclude me because I am not a straight, white man. I hope that Jan Brewer will represent me and stand up for the rights of people like me across this state when dealing with these bills. Because the idea that I could be kicked out of somewhere based solely on the way I was born blows.
