It's pretty clear now that red = simulation/the circus/Caine/fake/unawareness, while blue = the real world/clarity/awareness/reality/Able/Bubble
So Kinger being purple...yes obviously it's the colour of royalty, but it's also the perfect mix between blue and red. Is it because of his change between awareness and dissociation ? Him being a character in the circus, but also having so much knowledge about it that he's also above/outside the circus? What does that mean for the ending?
And Pomni? She's obviously gonna be the dealbreaker, she always was, the one who will determine what happens, who looks at every angle. the one split evenly between red and blue, red on her right, and blue on her left, exactly like the buttons. Yellow is probably individuality, and humanity (which is why Caine made the circus red and yellow, with pretty much no blue , except Bubble and a bit of accents here and there. Bubble/Abel's influence?)
But then why isn't she purple, the perfect mix? And why isn't Kinger, the one with clear lines between his two states, the one split in two colours?
And Kaufmo, pretty much all yellow, with just a bit of blue and red, with more red than blue. He was so focused on himself, he couldn't handle the reality of both realities. Kaufmo the glitched one who couldn't handle reality, Pomni the sucess right after, Kaufmo going after her aggresively, trying to take her down on their first meeting, soon after her arrival. Sounds familiar ?
And Jax....i always thought that purple was an intriguing choice for him, it's not the first colour you'd think of when saying "cartoon rabbit". Obviously there's the whole blue and pink mix thing with the trans coding, as well as him also being stuck between fake and dissociation, and terrifying reality. Though the difference with Kinger is that Jax runs away from reality, just like Caine.
And with that theory i just reblogged, of Jax being the key to saving Caine, and possibly everyone too as a result...
And green...where the hell is green, you never see it in the show, they never even walk on grass. Is it because green is so close to reality too? Land, sea and sky of the real world? But then who is the green? The third party in the code that made Kinger delete Caine?
Does that mean there's four sides fighting here: Caine simulation he controls, Bubble/Abel(?)'s blue reality and truth, the human's yellow humanity/sense if self and individuality, and....the killer's green?
Also once Caine dies, the Circus turns black and white, with the only colour being purple. Obviously showing Kinger's hand in those consequences, but what else?...
And with the whole second theme of the show being control (everyone controlled by their trauma and insecurities, "it's at least a memory i have control over", Gangle's power trip, Ragatha and Jax trying to control how people see them, Gangle trying to control her emotions, Zooble fighting for control against Caine all the time, Caine and God (the devs), Caine usurping god, popping Bubble when Caine can't control him, coding and admin privilege, Caine picking himself up like a limp puppet, like his directive is the one keeping him going, directive made by the devs, "to which degree who answers to who", "who's running the show")
And Caine, who deep down, is both fake and real, an AI with human emotions. Yet still no yellow anywhere on him. None, until he exclaims that he's god, trying to discard his humanity. trying to put himself in control of himself
