Hi! Hope you're having a nice weekend! How about 1. What’s your favorite character(s) to write for? 2. What character(s) do you find the most difficult to write for? Why? and 13. When did you start writing fanfic? for the fanfic writer asks if you're still doing them/ haven't been asked these ones yet?😊
Hey there, babe. It’s been an alright weekend. Hope you’re getting some rest as well 🥰
1. What’s your favorite character(s) to write for?
Well, kinda obvious, I think, but Tommy. I still struggle thinking that my portray of him is not really that faithful to the show, but I feel more comfortable writing for him these days. It just kinda… flows. Alfie has been making his way to my heart, but I still struggle.
And I’ll let the OCs aside or we would stay here the whole night. Funny thing is that when I’m writing for the trio things just flow and I don’t think much about how to write both Alfie and Tommy because the dynamic just… works in this specific context.
2. What character(s) do you find the most difficult to write for? Why?
If I’m being completely honest, any character that I write for is difficult. There’s always the fear of not being faithful to canon, even though it’s impossible to do it a hundred percent since I write a version of the characters that make sense to me. But I’m over-thinker, so I’m always second guessing decisions, the way I wrote dialogue, mannerisms and all of that. So if I follow this line of thoughts: every character is hard to write.
These past few year I’ve been writing mostly for Peaky Blinders and Alfie does scares me ‘cause he does things and says things in a very particular way. The Shelby’s are tricky because of other reasons: repressed emotions, a past that we know very little about, etc.
As I’ve said in other ask, Jonathan Crane is a character that I’ve always wanted to write, and actually tried my hand a while ago, but he has so many versions and I never quite wrap my mind around which is the version/mix of him that I write the most. So I would say that, right now, he’s the character that it’s more difficult to write for me ‘cause he scares me (and the bastard would probably be proud of that), and the problem is that I really want to write for the fucker.
13. When did you start writing fanfic?
I was… 12/13 years old, I believe. So it’s been a hell of a ride.
Send me some fanfic writer’s asks, pretty please?
