You know what... I'm proud of Louis.
Louis was never my fave. I never tried to pass him off as my fave. And he's still not my fave, because Niall Horan holds that crown -- but, my goodness, I have so much respect for Louis Tomlinson.
The other day he said that he doesn't know if it's true, but that he likes to think that fatherhood has made him more mature. And he's fucking right, because it as. Yes, he's still a guy and he likes to party and he likes to do dumb shit, probably, but he's matured so much over the last 12-18 months -- since finding out that he was going to be a father, since raising his precious son. He's grown up. He's become a man. He's a man who loves his son. He's a man who's proud of his son. And he's become a man who doesn't give a fuck what gross people say about him -- or about his son -- anymore.
Once upon a time he would have lashed out at the truly horrendous comments about his baby boy, but instead he focuses on staying positive. Instead, he focuses on thanking people for their lovely, sweet comments. But more than that, he focuses on his son and loving his son and protecting his son and wanting what's best for his son.
He hasn't cared what Larries think of him for a long time. And he's just proved to me, today, that he doesn't care what Larries think of his relationship with his son -- and that's, no doubt, because he's too busy loving Freddie Reign Tomlinson to care.
That's love, y'all. And I have so much respect for that.
