OOC: I've been going through fanfics and I've seen one where higu has been working with aku from way earlier. And I've established here that she does know him for a long time (since she joined the mafia pretty young), but now I'm just... but what if she works with him way sooner. What if she witnessed the abuse (not directly since she clearly only know dazai by name and only learned he was aku's mentor when he told her)? But the angst potential of her witnessing that and trying to help, nurturing hatred against the person that did that to him (and yet not knowing who that was) and being relieved once it stopped... because if I wasn't clear, I think higuchi is dazai hater #1 and that could reinforce that if she saw the consequences of his abuse.
